Unverified . . . so sad.
I am definitely not perfect. I will be the first to admit it. Sometimes I can't find a marriage source. Sometimes I can't even recall where I found the marriage date in the first place - you should see the stack on my desk! Sometimes a caring contributor gives me the date, but even he or she doesn't know where it came from, and sometimes I forget that contributor's name entirely (though this is usually temporary).
Sometimes I get a date with a source, then go out to verify said source (standard operating procedure) and find out it's partially wrong, completely wrong, or not even the right people - neither bride nor groom is a Bytheway. Go figure. I sure could tell you some fun stories along that line, like about George Bithell of Crickhowell, Wales.
Well, you get the picture . . . So many dates, so little time. It's out there. When I find it, the source note on the website will reflect the change. If you find it first, Lord willing, may you be inspired to tell me!
